A straightforward combi-for-combi swap in Edinburgh or the Lothians is usually a one-day job. We arrive first thing, drain down the system, remove the old boiler, fit the new one in the same position, flush the system, commission it, and hand it over the same day.
A more involved install — for example moving from a regular boiler with loft tanks to a combi, or relocating the boiler to a different room — usually takes two days. That gives us time to do the pipework changes properly, remove redundant tanks, pressure-test everything, and make sure nothing is rushed.
We plan the job properly before we start. At the survey we confirm the position, the flue route, any pipework changes, and what needs doing to the existing system. That means on the install day there are no surprises and no half-finished jobs.
We also power flush where it's needed and fit a magnetic filter as standard on every install — both of those protect the new boiler and keep your warranty valid.
